Feed sack bench

September was a totally crazy month for us!  We went away with my family for a week-end and then went to Kentucky this past week-end.
This is a piece I worked on at the same time as the Argyle desk.....
I'm only a month behind :)

 And here she is "After"....
 She was a bit trickier to cover than the chair but I was happy with it once it was finished.
 One more shot from the side....
And she was a hit!  She's already sold to a happy customer and then we had a request for another so I'm on the hunt along with my friend who owns the shop for a bench...
And this weekend is the big festival in town so I am working at the shop on Saturday.  
Trying to finish up those mittens and a few hand knit hats to take along with me!

  4. I just HAD to click on this at funky junk because I just got a PILE of FREE (woo hoooooo!!!!) feedsacks and burlap bags today and one I grabbed because I loved the red checkered pattern! Maybe I can do something like your project with it - love the bench!!! :)
