You might think by looking at the blog or our Etsy shop that we are computer savy but you would be wrong....
so so wrong....
We have been wanting to update our "brand" for awhile. My husband is passionate about flying and with our last name being VanHook the flying "V" was born....This logo was his idea and his uncle worked his magic on photoshop so we'd have a computer file to work with.
When I started the blog way back when I had no idea we'd be opening an Etsy shop or that we'd have our own booth space at a local Peddler's Mall....
The photo in our header is one of my all time favorites....
I took this photo of my husband and my little son at a local airport that he has gone to since he was a teenager. So I wanted to keep the photo but include and overlay the new flying V....sounds simple enough...
That was a month ago. I'm still stumbling through it. Finally got the header here and on our Etsy shop to look the way I want. Now I just need to figure out how to watermark our photos and by that time my brain will be completely fried!
I'd love to just be able to pay someone to do all of this...but when you're just starting out you have to do all that yourself to try to keep it affordable. So that means things move slow for us....
We are using these little canvas bags with our stamp on them to package our Etsy products....
Love the little inking stamp we can use on whatever we want....
Bought a few of these little books from Scout Books to send as freebies to our customers...
so we stamped these as well.
Along with the stamp and the new business cards we also bought some matching thank-you post cards and some oval stickers with our logo.
So fun to get our package from Vistaprint full of our business goodies!
